Objective: To inculcate a gratitude mindset in your child in a fun manner!

This is an EXTREMELY simple exercise that can have a strong impact if done consistently. Parents, always remember consistency is key. Once you start this activity, make it a routine. If doing it daily gets impractical, keep it a weekly routine or a every weekend routine.
Materials required: A small jar or box, paper chits, pen/pencil, materials to decorate the jar (optional)
All you have to do is-
Based on your child’s age, make him/her decorate the jar using colours, paints, sparkle/glitter or a ribbon – however they may wish to.
Make chits on blank paper and make it a routine to ask your child what he/she is grateful for every single day (Eg: their favorite toy, a fun day at school, a fun play date etc.
) and put these chits in the jar.
At the end of every week, go through these chits with your child to make him/her reflect on their week positively.
P.s: This is especially helpful when your child is feeling low to remind them of all that they DO have in life!
