Tri-colour pasta

Tri-colour idlis
Make idlis using spinach, carrot, and the usual urad dal and idli rice. You can either prepare it individually or mix it all to create a tri-colour batter. Tri-colour veggie salad
You can choose carrots for saffron color, steamed cauliflower or grated radish for white and broccoli pieces, cucumber slices, or steamed green beans for green.

Cook rice in three different containers by adding tomato and carrot purees for saffron, and green coriander or spinach for green rice in two containers while keeping the last one plain. Flavour them with your favorite spices and then use a mold to place first green, then white, and finally saffron rice.
